A hinderance not a help! (Nov 29, 2008) Reviewer: maddies mom

Bought mine at babies r us. It slipped all over the place on every potty i tried. then it pinched her when she sat on it once.

It was very flimsy. i gave up and got a second cushioned NON FOLDING sesame street one like I use at home.

Yeah its bulky but we have no more issues now with other pottys.

Potty training with lots of help (Dec 10, 2008) Reviewer: Lisa Nothnagel My son aged 2Ĺ just recently started showing signs of wanting to start the process of toilet training. Seeing that this is my second little one and I've been through potty training once before -- I was eager for him to start so I got out the big boy underpants and the potty seat right away! Well that approach lasted a whole half day with many messes on the floor (I thanked my husband that day for installing hard wood flooring). So I had to rethink -- should I try it this way or that way (I am only a parent and no two parents will have the same potty experiences so I don't think I should put my views about this subject on to you, everyone has to do the potty thing there own way). Then along came this book 'Uh oh! Gotta Go! Potty tales from toddlers'. My son got a real kick out of this book. He was happy to see that everyone makes mistakes and everyone does it their own way. We read the book a few times and then I asked him if he was ready to try again he said "No". I then had a great idea 'why don't we read the book while you're on the potty' this seemed to work as he sat on the potty for longer then a second. We have yet to get a pee pee in the potty but at least he'll try now. I also like this book; it has all the different ways to help out any toddler who's ready to toilet train. These are just a few of the helpful/humorous hints your toddler will enjoy, some like to flush, some like to listen for the splash; some use the grown-up toilet and some use diapers at night.
My son loves the flaps (Feb 12, 2009) Reviewer: NA While I cannot say this is a great instructional book I think it is a really nice introduction before the potty training process gets started. My son really loved the flaps and we read it all the time!
I am impressed. (Oct 14, 2009) Reviewer: Lindsay Knauz I am impressed because my kid gets up dry, and I donít have to wake up to the alarm.
Gee Whiz It's Pee book (Oct 13, 2010) Reviewer: Natalie M. Barnard This book makes everyone crack up! Perfect 'boy' gift!!
scary!! (Feb 26, 2010) Reviewer: Robyn

The underside has no foam to prevent seat from sliding around on wood and hard-top toilet seats.

When my son first tried this on our holiday away from home, the seat moved around so much AND started to collapse in on itself that he started screaming! He's never been scared of going potty before.

Because of this seat and the duration of our vacation, we had to potty train him all over again.

As with any product and our own personal experience, PLEASE try it out at home first or somewhere close to home!

Hope this was helpful.

Update... on Leakage (Feb 11, 2010) Reviewer: brode79

There is not enough padding in the front... Unless your son's pee pee in literally under his body and between his legs, there is not enough padding.

All the padding in under him, (like in girls training pants) not in front where it should be. In the picture of the training pants on this page is a little deceiving.

You'll see a seam going horizontal across the front. Underneath the seam is where all the padding is, but when it's actually on your child , most of the padding is underneath.

In the picture of the little boy... only the part where it is padded is on the dip in the front below the leg opening seams. And unless my son is standing straight up... the pee comes right through...

Don't get me wrong... it does catch some pee, but still disappointed. He had only been in that training pant for 15 minutes!!! And yes... I did wash them to increase their absorbency before use...

A must have (Jun 02, 2011) Reviewer: Jo-Ann A training seat was not in my original potty training plan, but after a few days of helping my 15 month old hold herself up on the "big" potty my arms were KILLING me. I decided a travel seat had to be the way to go. The 1st time we used the t it she loved it because she could do it like a big girl. This thing is AMAZING! I read reviews about pinching & babes falling in, but that had to be a user error. If you read the instructions & place the seat correctly you will have no issues at all. I have told all the ladies in my mommy group about the must have seat.
Why are the pants only made for boys? (Dec 03, 2008) Reviewer: Fiona Stevens Hello, Hanes?

Please check your calendar. It is now 2008, a time in which some people might consider stories about talking trains to appeal to both boys and girls.

So why are none of the clothing products made for girls?

It's a valuable market, why aren't you tapping it? And please, in time for my two year old niece who is Thomas-mad to have some knickers for Christmas.

What about the girls? (Nov 24, 2008) Reviewer: Christian We need Thomas underpants for girls! Quick! Please
Little girls love Thomas, too! (Dec 18, 2008) Reviewer: agd Ditto with the need for girls' Thomas panties!! My daughter really wants "big girl" underwear, but refuses anything but Thomas! Friends have suggested getting her boys briefs, but ugh! Better for Haynes to join the rest of us in 2008!!
PLEASE MAKE GIRL THOMAS UNDERPANTS!!! (Apr 16, 2009) Reviewer: Amy Driver We are on a search for Thomas underpants for my 2 year year old daughter! She plays with her Thomas and friends ALL the time and it is the ONLY motivator for her to go potty! A lot of girls love Thomas too!!!
Girls Underwear Wanted (Jun 25, 2009) Reviewer: Liz Caron My granddaughter refuses to give up diapers until she gets Thomas underpants. Please consider making them!
Us Too!!! (Aug 02, 2009) Reviewer: Susan My daughter absolutely loves Nemo and Thomas. I find very little Nemo and NO Thomas! Let's get with the program here!
Thomas the Tank underwear for girls (Aug 02, 2009) Reviewer: Carolyn Many times my granddaughter has asked for Thomas the Tank underwear. Is there some reason why Hanes does not make Thomas the Tank underwear for girls? You are missing out on a marketing niche. There are a lot of girls that are not into princess this or that. Try doing a marketing study and see what you might find.
Grand daughter 4 yrs. old teased for wearing Thomas (Jan 27, 2010) Reviewer: Joyce Leibert Hi- I thought we were the only family who's little girl wanted to wear Thomas. Where can we find Thomas under wear for girls? She is an identical twin and wears size 4 clothing.
My son loves these!!! (Feb 18, 2011) Reviewer: Rocco Albano My son absolutely loves his Thomas the Train underwear and is so very proud of them. Overall the product meets our expectations and the transaction was smooth and seamless.
Another Girl wanting Thomas undies! (Jan 12, 2011) Reviewer: Gayle Melby Yes, please make Thomas underwear for girls. My 3 year old is trying to convince me that she is a boy so I will buy her Thomas underwear. Please, please, please realize that little girls love Thomas too and want to wear the undies!
Thomas underwear for girls please! (Jun 22, 2012) Reviewer: Sharon

Yes!! My 3-year old girl also wants Thomas underwear! She loves Thomas the tank engine - most of the Thomas jammies and shirts she has are boys.

It's great to hear there are other little girls out there who love Thomas.

Thrilled (Nov 05, 2012) Reviewer: Marie Denton

I am so thrilled by what I found on your site!

The number of underpants (3) in your package is perfect for my purpose ( I'm the nagging grandparent!), plus the stickers with the free achievement sheet, are a terrific ploy. I shall let you know how he fares.

This is a tricky 3.5 year old. However, he loves Thomas AND he loves stickers. I LOVE the idea of having the sheet so there's some regular type of educational input as well as the physical. --I'm just supposing that I didn't have to apply for that score sheet, that it comes automatically with the stickers. Anyhow, I'm sure I'll be back.

I also thought your pricing was most valid, AND the postage method to Canada didn't take my breath ( and cheerfulness ) away!

Good Luck in all you do!
